The third day

God finally moved the waters on the earth around, set them in a boundary and called the dry land Earth and the waters he called seas. And this earth brought forth grass, and plants, and fruit. And it was good.

I can only imagine how green and lush the earth was with all the new, fresh vegetation. And how blue the seas were. Except the Caribbean with all its turquoise splendor. Being a lover of spring and summer, I love watching the trees bud, the tiny flower buds poke their heads above the hard dirt. Living in Iowa, I love watching the farmers till the land and carefully plant each seed that will later grow to be corn and soybeans – because that’s what we grow here.

I would have loved to have seen the earth back then on that day of creation. What a glorious sight it would have been.
